A couple suggestions:
1) Getting people from Facebook to website to convert into newsletter subscribers.
– There are newsletter subscription form apps for Facebook fan page tabs. That way, you can get them to sign up without having to make the leap to your website.
2) Getting people from the Internet to come out to physical shows.
– Yea, it’s definitely too easy for people to flake out with a simple “yes” on Facebook or Twitter. But if you can sell them the ticket online, the notion of not attending a show that they already bought a ticket for will get them out of the house.
