While we’re on the subject, I think this is an interesting interview clip of Eddie Brill talking Last Comic Standing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsw1loFhWoE

  3. If it’s for a cancer benefit the audience is touchy. I had some dude jump up on stage because I pointed something out in the crowd. Falker…haha

I’d be interested in knowing how to judge whether or not an entry fee is justifiable. I recently paid $25 to enter a contest that even after the first round proved worth doing, but I also checked out another one about 200 miles further away that wanted a lot more money. $300 I believe, but it was a while ago. I just backed out because it seemed ludicrous, but the reality is I had no way to really judge if they had the “creds” to ask for such a high entry fee.

  5. Cyrus Virus says:

Most of the contests are rigged. For example, I just heard there was a contest last night where the guy that lost totally killed the crowd with laughter, and the guy who won, was, ehh, ok. But the guy who won was already hand-picked to win so yeap, they’re rigged.

  6. Moonstruck says:

I was thinking of entering Atlanta’s Top Comic, but I’m not so sure now. My comedy is “crude” and I wonder if it would go over well. Hmmmmmm
